It is always good to begin with eye makeup as it is easier to wipe off any fall out.
As you can see, I’ve already did my eyebrows.. Click on my eyebrow filling tutorial if you wish to see how I did it.. Will do an updated one soon..

At first, I am applying the eye shadow base. It will prevent eye shadow from creasing and will last a lot longer. As you can see in that picture, I used sticky tape so that it gives me that crisp line and the eye makeup will turn up even neater.
Then I applied a pale shimmery eye shadow on my lid in patting motion and applied the same shade on my brow bone.

I dipped my brush in a coffee-ish brown color eye shadow and blend that into my crease as a transition color. Using a tapered brush, I applied a black eye shadow on the outer V of my eyes.

Then again, to intensify the look, I applied the same black shade to create a cut crease.. I applied a “red brick” on top of my crease and blend it together with the black shade.

Then I cleaned my eyelid with a concealer and applied a shimmery gold shade over it. To glamorize the look, I applied some glitter all over the lid. This is totally optional.
As usual, I drew a classic wing liner and applied 2 coats of mascara on my lashes. It was not easy to draw that eyeliner on top of that glitter. Really! That glitter sucks! Will not purchase it again! Comment below, if you want me to do honest review on this. I did not applied fake lashes, but if you want, you can apply it.

Once I’m done with the eye makeup, I applied some concealer which is 2-3 shades lighter than my skin tone under my eyes, forehead, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow and chin & blend it well. This is to create that highlighted look.
I contoured my temples, cheekbones, nose and jaw lines too! Then I applied, the banana powder on the area that is highlighted and contouring powder on the area that is contoured.

To bring back the color, I applied a peachy shade blusher and some luminizer, it would look as if I’m naturally glowing! *wink* Bonus!

I lined my lips with a brown lip liner and applied these 3 lip color evenly..
Here’s a tips: Apply a nude shade lipstick, luminizer or a pale eyeshadow on the centre of your lips, to make it appear fuller! Voila! You’re done!

1st lip option : Pink Lips
2nd lip option: Deep Red lips
3rd lip option: Red Lips

That’s all! Don’t you think it’s easy?

Let me know in the comments below, which lip option is your favorite? Try to recreate this look, and I’ll feature you on my social media accounts! All you have to do is, hastag “#rhemaglitz” on the caption so that I can view your beautiful pictures!

MAYBELLINE LIP POLISH BY COLOR SENSATIONAL IN "GLAM 6"

Hello my loves! How are y’all? Well, today, I’ll be reviewing on a lip product from Maybelline. You know what, I just realized that I’ve been only posting about drugstore products! Hahaha! Hope my next review will be on a high-end product! :P Without further delay, let’s get into the review!

Product: Maybelline Lip Polish by Color Sensational in “Glam 6”

Price: Around RM36 (GST included)

Quantity: 5.0 ml or 0.17 fl.oz.

Shelf life: 3 years

Available at: Drugstores (Watson & Guardian)

Appearance: I really like the packaging, it’s unique! It looks like a lipstick (with bullet) but when you twist the cap, there you go… A lip polish with a flexible leaf-shaped applicator. Look at the color of this lip polish, beau-ti-ful! Dark skin beauties, this shade will look amazing on you.

What it says?
Formulated with trio concentrates of potent color extract, concentrated balm, and glossy shine serum.

Why you’ll Love It:

- Triples up to give color, shiny gloss and moisture rich balm
- Glides smoothly to add a brilliant touch to your lips
- Multiple captivating shades

Directions: Apply Maybelline Lip Polish with its unique leaf shaped brush, starting from the center of your upper lip. Work your way from the center to the outer edges of your lips, while following the contours of your mouth. Then, glide across the entire bottom.

My Experience: This lip polish does what it says! End of story! Its pigmented and glides on my lips like butter. Very smooth and buttery formula, it also moisturizes the lips.
I personally love matte lip products, and always stay away from glossy lippies. But this one, is definitely one of my favorite! Even though it’s super shiny and glossy, with just blotting my lips with a tissue paper, my problem is solved! It won’t look completely matte but still pretty with a lil bit of glossy finish.

Yes, it does transfers to cup when drinking but trust me, the longevity is toooo good for a drugstore product! It last for more than 5 hours, of course without eating or drinking. What I love about this shade is, since it’s a dark shade, even after a long day, the color still shows off. It basically, stains the lip. I’m not sure about other shade though.

Just to test it, after applying 2 coats of this lip polish, I wipe it off with tissue and then followed by makeup remover. The stain is still there! I washed it with water, the stain is still there!! *heart-eyes emoji* Isn’t it great?!

Pros:

~ Smooth & buttery formula
~ Not sticky or tacky
~ Doesn’t feel heavy on lips
~ Keeps the lips moisturized for a long time
~ Stays for more than 5 hours
~ Very pigmented
~ Doesn’t settle into fine line of the lips

Cons:

~ Super glossy

Will I repurchase? Hmm.. May be not. Having 1 in these collection is enough for me.. J

Rate: 4/5
