Eyebrow filling tutorial

BROWS ON FLEEK!

Wassup beauties! While thinking of what to post on my very first blog, I thought I should give you the ultimate guide to get the perfect brows, hoping that this would be a good start for any makeup look. I will be also doing a different type of tutorial on how to shape eyebrows, so look out for that too!

There are for sure many tutorials out there to guide you on this but, this is my way of doing it. I don’t follow these steps on daily basis, ain’t nobody got time to do that! Unless, I want to be extra glammed up for that day. I don’t want to waste any more of your time, so c’mon guys, let’s jump into the tutorial.

To achieve this eyebrows, I used:

  1. Wet & Wild Ultimate Brow Kit
  2. NYX Concealer In Jar (Glow CJ06) – your shade or a shade lighter
  3. Silkygirl’s Double Intense Gel Liner (or any eyebrow pencil)
  4. A spoolie stick/Mascara wand
  5. Concealer brush

*You don’t have to use all these products, you can achieve this look with whatever you have. So, don’t worry! J

Before we begin, please make sure that your eyebrows are well groomed. You can either thread it, tweeze, or wax it. Anything, you’re comfortable with. I thread my brows but as you can see on the image shown below, my eyebrows are uneven. I guess the person who threaded it know nuts about threading. She cut off my arch & tear off my skin! Is there anything worse that could happen?! *sigh* …So, this image shown below, is my bare eyebrows. I have nothing on it.

STEP 1: Before you start, look carefully into your brows and decide how you want it to look like. Thick? Straight? Thin? Curvy? You decide. I always follow the original shape of it, as it is the safest way. Brush over your brows with the spoolie and now, outline the top and bottom of your brows, with gentle and not harsh strokes. Then, joint the lines to the end of the brows.

STEP 2: Using the eyebrow kit, fill in the sparse areas of your eyebrows. As you can see, I have created an ombre effect where, the light brown applied on the front and dark brown applied from middle to the end of the brows. This will create a softer and subtle look. Now, lightly brush over your brows with the spoolie for a clean and neat look.

STEP 3: Using a concealer or any flat brush, take some concealer and highlight your brows. This step will help in achieving a cleaner and precise brows. You can highlight underneath your brows only but I prefer highlighting the top as well. Make sure the “tail” is sharp and the concealer doesn’t have to be precise as we’re going to blend it in a second!

STEP 4: Now, using the same brush, blend the concealer into your skin in a downward motion. Blend, blend and blend! Make sure that there are no harsh lines.

STEP 5: To complete the look, apply your eye makeup and do not forget to apply white or any pale eye shadow on the brow bone. Let it be matte or shimmer, anything you like. This is to set on the concealer we applied just now. And, you’re done!! Yayyyy!

p/s: Apologies on the poor lighting/ quality of my photos. Promise to get better in future.
